What is one of your favorite things to do after putting the kids to bed at night or at naptime?

What is one of your hardest challenges of being a mom to a preschooler and baby?

What is your favorite thing to cook (if you cook)?

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

If you could change one thing about others what would it be?

That's it for now...oh and send me a picture!

If money were no object, what are your dreams and goals?

Awesome questions!!!
1. When the kids are asleep I love to sit and do a sudoku puzzle, catch up on emails, and drink coffee! (well, not at night ha ha)

2. Challenges of being a mom - I worry if I'm teaching them enough! I also wish I was more calm with them and not get so frustrated - or at least not show it!

3. I love to bake - anything and everything! My new favorite is trying out new recipes for bread. My secret weapon for dinner though is Sheppard's Pie!

4. There are many things I would change about myself, but #1 is probably that I'm too hard on myself sometimes and I just want to like myself more.

5. One thing I would change about others - I wish people judged less. I wish people were more tolerant and peaceful.

6. If money were no object, I would buy a HUGE piece of property, build houses for my mom, my dad and his wife, and the rest of my family and we would all live closer! I miss my family SO much. Oh, and honestly, I might have some plastic surgery done ha ha

What is your decorating style?
If you had an unlimited budget to decorate your house - where would you shop at?

What Shampoo and Conditioner do you use?

Body Wash/Soap?

What is one of the best things to you about being a SAHM?

Do you have a verse that you call upon regularly that helps you be a better mom/wife/daughter in Christ/

I'd say I don't really have a decorating style. If I had an unlimited budget I'd probably drag a couple of you girls with me and we'd have a blast! Shawna, I really like the way you've done your house and mine would probably be similar to your style.

Shampoo, Conditioner and Body wash - this has been changing. Used to be nothing but Arbonne, but with budget tightening, now I just try to find products without parabens and too many chemicals. But, I do have a weakness for anything that smells yummy and that will sometimes override my strive to be chemical conscious. lol

Best thing to me about being a SAHM is watching them grow. It amazes me how much they learn and that is my favorite part - seeing that spark in their eyes when they "get" something new. I love that I don't have to miss all the hugs and kisses and cuddles and everything that other moms don't get to see while they are working outside of the home.

I don't have a verse that I rely on regularly, as I'm still learning and trying to soak in as much as I can, though one that is very fitting for me is Psalm 127:3 Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.
Also, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

What is your favorite Bible Story/Character?

Where is your favorite place to go out to eat?
Where do you eat out most often?

What is your favorite TV show?

Do you have a favorite Coffee or Tea?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10, 20?

My favorite Bible Story/Character is the story of Noah and the Ark. I like the idea of being specially chosen by Him for a specific, important job.

We go out to eat at Red Lobster a lot because the boys like it so much. ha ha I am happy to go anywhere, though because it means I get a night off!

My favorite TV show is(was?) Lipstick Jungle. I would LOVE to have friends that I was that close to. I am also a sucker for American Idol. I know, I know.

I love a mocha anything at Starbucks. Really, any coffee - I can drink it any time of day, hot or iced. Love it!

In 5 years - I will probably wonder what I'll do with myself while Cade is in school all day! I'll hopefully have a baby girl to keep me busy, though. ;)

In 10 years. I'll be a frazzled, yet fulfilled mom of teenagers. I really hope that right now I'm teaching them the tools they'll need then!

In 20 years - I want to cry thinking about that. In 20 years my babies will probably all be out of the house, on their own and at least close to having their own families. Boo hoo. I will probably still be busy cleaning up after my husband, though!
